ABOUT US

When 6 parent/founders opened Momentum Athletic Center in 2016, it began with a simple dream: to create a "home" where our daughters would continue their love of gymnastics under the watchful eyes of special adult coaches who cared more about their growth as little humans than their development as competitive athletes. We were just parents with a vision, a handful of athletes, and a deep belief in the power of sport to build not just skills, but character, confidence, grit, grace, and resilience.

What started as a single gymnastics gym has since grown into something I never could’ve imagined. Today, Momentum spans two vibrant facilities, 30,000sq ft of training space, and offers a wide variety of programs designed to meet kids where they are and support them as they grow.

From our preschool and developmental gymnastics programs to our competitive gymnastics teams. From developmental cheer, tumbling, and NinjAGILITY to a thriving All Star competitive cheer program, Momentum has become a place where athletes of all ages and interests can learn, grow, and shine. Recently we launched a special needs adaptive movement program called Extraordinary Athletes for children 4yo and younger. Extraordinary Athletes is a magical experience that now helps us fulfill a vision that we have held for years to support the community of incredible extraordinary children.

No matter how much we've expanded and evolved, our mission remains the same: to leverage the love children have for movement to sprinkle in critical lessons that will benefit them the rest of their lives. We focus not just on physical progress and prowes, but on emotional growth, personal development, and building a community where families feel supported and seen.

Five of the original partners have moved on to other adventures through the years. Together, we are proud of how far we’ve come. I am even more excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of the Momentum story—and for allowing us to be part of yours.

Momentum Athletic Center is proud to serve families across Parker, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, and Douglas County with two state-of-the-art facilities designed for every age and stage of your athlete’s journey.

10490 S. Progress Way – Gymnastics & Preschool Gym

Our Progress Way location is home to Momentum’s award-winning Gymnastics programs and our dedicated Lil Movers preschool gym. From Baby & Me movement classes to advanced team training, this facility is built for growth, safety, and fun. With advanced equipment and a nurturing environment, it’s the perfect place for athletes to learn, develop confidence, and build lifelong skills.

18499 Longs Way – Cheer, Tumbling & NinjAGILITY

Located just minutes away, our Longs Way location was designed specifically for Cheer, Tumbling, and NinjAGILITY. This facility features custom equipment, open training space, and innovative obstacle setups—making it the ultimate training ground for Parker athletes who love to flip, fly, and push their limits. Whether your child is joining All Star Cheer, learning a back handspring, or conquering the ninja warp wall, this gym delivers challenge, excitement, and Momentum magic.

At both locations, families enjoy the convenience of digital skill-tracking and video apps, so you can watch your child’s progress and celebrate their milestones every step of the way.

Momentum Culture

Teaching life skills, personal integrity and character are the cornerstones of our philosophy—we help to shape each of our athletes into strong, powerful and courageous young people.

At Momentum Athletic Center, culture is everything. Many of our department leaders and coaches have been with us since the very beginning, shaping a gym where athletes feel like family. Most of our competitive athletes were first spotted right in our preschool programs—a reflection of how deeply we believe in growing confidence and skills from the ground up.

Our culture also extends far beyond the gym walls. From marching in Parker’s beloved holiday parade to hosting trunk-or-treats at local elementary schools, sponsoring neighborhood events, and supporting families through programs like Developmental Pathways (with another community event planned for 2026), we are proud to be woven into the fabric of Parker.
